Exhibition: Draw the Snakes Exhibition
When: 18/1 - 18/2/2025
"Draw the Snakes" Exhibition is an annual event for the community of Vietnam Local Artist Group. In 2025, over 500 artists participated, and I am honored to be one of the 79 illustrators whose works were selected for display at Quốc Tự Giám - Hồ Văn, a venue dedicated to organizing artistic activities that celebrate the rich cultural values and heritage of Vietnam.
Below is the piece I exhibited in the "Draw the Snakes" Exhibition.

Đuôi làm hàm nhai, đuôi quai miệng trễ - 35x25 (cm) - Digital painting

We often refer to the Snake as 'Na' in our conversations. Borrowing from the proverb "tay làm hàm nhai, tay quai miệng trễ" - 'those who work hard eat well, while those who do not will go hungry' - the little Snake (Na) doesn’t have hands, so she uses her tail flexibly to manage. I drew a hardworking little Snake - Little Na Green - who is busy with business. As a result, family and friends from all around the 12 zodiac signs always come to support her, and her jar of money is always full, jingling with coins. Meanwhile, Little Na Red loves to sleep, so her money jar remains sadly empty. I wish everyone a year of working hard and prospering like Little Na Green, with abundant wealth, and not like Little Na Red who sleeps through it all.
